Local Dunkin’ Donuts Restaurants Celebrate Educators Throughout Hampton Roads, Richmond, VA and the Outer Banks with Thanks to You Promotion
Hampton Roads, VA (September 10, 2009) -- Dunkin' Donuts, America's all day, every day stop for coffee and baked goods, is celebrating teachers and school personnel throughout the region in September at all area restaurants. Everyone working in the public and private schools will receive a free cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee on Tuesdays. Educators simply show ID to redeem their free coffee.
Two educators were honored at recognition events the first week of September during the back to school work week for teachers. In Richmond, at the Hull Street Dunkin’ Donuts in Midlothian, Michelle Huber, Teacher of the Year at Clover Hill High School was honored and in Virginia Beach, at the Indian River Road Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant, Susan Jusell, Librarian at College Park Elementary where she is the 2009 Teacher of the Year.
Dunkin’ Donuts developed the Thanks to You program to recognize different heroes each month from now through the end of 2009. In October, the Thanks to You program will recognize firefighters, in November, veterans and active duty military and in December, police personnel. Each month a specific expert in their field will be honored at a kick off event in Hampton Roads.
